This is how we start the 5 days detox this morning
First thing in the morning warm water with lemon juice .. 30 to 45 minutes before eating anything else.
Then follow up with my much needed protein to kick start my day. 1 large brown organic egg with my oh so yummy, good for your body green smoothie ( Swiss chard, kale, spinach pineapple, cucumber, kiwi, and 1 tsp of turmeric. Blend all until smooth.
A little tea to keep you going
This tea will keep you satiated until your next meal. The combination of lemon, cayenne pepper and ginger creates a powerful cleanse and will help break up toxins in your body, while creating a shield for unwanted bacteria in your system. The cayenne pepper in this recipe will raise your body temperature and fire up your digestion and metabolism to kick-start the cleanse.
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 1/2 lemon
- dash cayenne pepper
Directions
Combine ingredients and heat to desired temperature
For Lunch: A nice bowl of Lentils soup. It's cold outside, this will definitely Keeps you warm.
half-cup of cooked lentils contains over 9 grams of protein and a jaw-dropping 8 grams of dietary fiber. Lentils are also a good source of iron and an excellent source of folate.
For Snack: the Green Mouth Energy Balls..
For Dinner: Salmon with Roasted vegetables and farro.
Water, water, water keep drinking.
