Super Saturday detox


the 19 days cleanse
Breakfast

ULTIMATE STRESS BUSTER CEREAL
Porridge is believed to not only help banish the blues, keep weight down, and shrink your waistline, but it also helps lower your stress levels.
½ cup of oatmeal.
½ cup of oat bran flakes
2 tbsp plain organic yogurt
1 tbsp ground sunflower seeds
add blueberries, raspberries

Cover oats and flakes with water and leave sitting overnight. In the morning, add the yogurt to the porridge and berries and seeds to taste.


Lunch
Mixed Bean Salad
Beans are packed full of vitamin B and iron, which helps your body deal with stress.
4 cups mixed beans
lettuce, watercress, arugula
½ apple cube
1 tbsp  parsley
1 tsp olive oil
½ lemon juice
1 stick celery chopped
ground black pepper, onions

Combine all ingredients and serve.

Dinner
Squash Soup
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 large butternut squash, deseeded, peeled, and diced
1 ½ tsp cumin
1 tsp dried cilantro
½ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp chili powder
1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
3 vegetable stock cubes dissolve in 3 ¼ cups hot water.

Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Add the onion and garlic and cook over low heat until the onions have softened. Add the squash, cumin, cilantro, nutmeg, chili, thyme, and stock. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Season to taste and add the herbs.
