Let’s change the way we think about food.
First thing in the morning: Hot water with lemon.
Yoga and walking are great options for something less-intense. But getting a great sweat is key for detoxification. Drink as much water as you can.
The Green Mouth house special
The combo of kale, dandelion and parsley makes this super green juice perfect for detoxing. It gives a boost of vitamins, antioxidants, and aids in digestion. Don’t skimp on the lemon—you need it to balance all those leafy greens.
Ingredients:
1 cup of Kale.
10 long dandelion leaves.
1/2 bunch of parsley.
1 and 1/2 peeled lemons.
3 large celery stalks.
1 and 1/2 cucumbers.
Directions: Blend all ingredients in a blender on high speed.
Herbal tea is to keep flushing the toxins out of your body.
Lunch: Mixed greens with steamed salmon, olive oil and lemon juice.
Snack: A handful of almond.
Dinner: Teriyaki chicken , brown rice with steamed zucchini.
Snack: A handful of blueberries..
