Vanilla, Chia, Cacao, Hemp energy balls 100% whole foods







The holiday season is almost here, and I absolutely love this time of year. I get to spend more time with my family and friends. and share delicious meals (which means I get busy in the kitchen) and make wonderful memories.

With the launch of The Green Mouth energy balls coming soon.  I wanted  to share this new recipe, specifically with the holidays in mind because I love my sweets, but  also I like them to be healthy too. 
These energy ball are an awesome power snack, they are jam-packed with good fats, super-food, protein and fiber. And they are the perfect treat to bring to your upcoming holiday party
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons hemp.
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds.
  • 5 tablespoons ground almonds.
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder.
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or alternative).
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Instructions:
  1. Place all ingredients (excluding Hemp ) into a food processor or blender and blend until crumbly, not smooth.  
  2. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls and roll in Hemp  and ground almonds
  3. Refrigerate or freeze for 4-5 hours.
