The holiday season is almost here, and I absolutely love this time of year. I get to spend more time with my family and friends. and share delicious meals (which means I get busy in the kitchen) and make wonderful memories.
With the launch of The Green Mouth energy balls coming soon. I wanted to share this new recipe, specifically with the holidays in mind because I love my sweets, but also I like them to be healthy too.
These energy ball are an awesome power snack, they are jam-packed with good fats, super-food, protein and fiber. And they are the perfect treat to bring to your upcoming holiday party
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons hemp.
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds.
- 5 tablespoons ground almonds.
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder.
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or alternative).
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients (excluding Hemp ) into a food processor or blender and blend until crumbly, not smooth.
- Roll mixture into 1 inch balls and roll in Hemp and ground almonds
- Refrigerate or freeze for 4-5 hours.
