Dry Brushing Tips
- Dry skin brushing should be done 3 to 4 times a week on dry skin before showering or bathing.
- Use a natural fiber brush with a wood or bamboo handle. Brush should stimulate not scratch the skin.
- Start at the bottom of your feet and work you way up to your body, moving brush in a circular motion toward your heart.
- Brush in circular motions over the abdomen. Do not use on sensitive areas (face) or on broken skin.
- The whole routine should take about 10- 15 minutes.
- If you are new to body brushing try light strokes first and build up to harder strokes as the skin gets more used to it.
