Zen is not a religion it is a way of life.

We have become a planet ruled by ambition and competitiveness. Lets drop the ‘me’ mentality and live with a ‘we’ mentality.

Zen philosophies has personally transformed my life. I spent countless years on a struggling path of always striving and never arriving. I based my self-worth on a very superficial yet common definition of ‘success’ – constantly striving for more, more things, more accolades, more friends, more wins and so forth.
No matter how much I achieved – I never found contentment.

Eventually the constant struggle wore me down, forcing me to look for a deeper level of substance. This is when I discovered zen living.

Whether you are feeling fleeting moments of discontentment , have lost hope, feel that there is something more or are dealing with depression – I hope that you find the comfort and solace you need in these Green Lifestyle zen influenced articles.
